I too download my songs off the internet. Its really bad for the music industry I guess but I only want that few songs and nothing else. Hey, it seems you like hello kitty as well? I kind of saw the pillow with 2 hello kitty heads!!! :D
I download dramas too because I'm currently in Guatemala and cannot buy Asian dramas. I finished those that I brought over. :D

I used to download songs from the internet but I think it's illegal in Hong Kong to download songs. Now I found a new way of discovering new songs. I would search on youtube to see if there is any new songs released by the artists I love, then I would listen to them and see if I love them. If so, I would go and get the CDs. Since I am using iPod, I need the CDs to load in the songs to my computer and then to my iPod and I prefer to have the CDs handy whenever I want to listen to the songs in my hi-fi system.

I actually go though iTunes myself. Outside of demos put up by the artists themselves, I generally do not downlaod free music. It is a matter of principle. I am a writer, and I like to get paid for my writing--I figure musicians are in the same category (we work hard at our creations, don't rip us off).

I am buying my music though iTunes. I have actually seen articles that state that the musicians are recieving the same amount from that service as they do from brick and mortar sales. You can burn the music onto a CD from iTunes.

Downloading songs doesn't help the writers but CDs are so expensive that people have no option but to do it. It's easier to download them, you just have to have the right program and you can hear it and a few minutes.
I do it but when I like the album I feel the need to buy it. I don't buy lots of them because as I said they are expensive but I try to buy the ones I like.

I think downloading music and not paying for it stealing. I download albums but as a preview, if I like them I buy 'em. If I don't I delete them. I don't agree at all with how most people just download and don't even think about the people who made it and put effort into it. No one likes being stolen from, even if you are filthy rich to being with already - it doesn't excuse it.

Personally i only tend to download to sample an artist or too sample songs from an album before actually going out and purchasing the music. I enjoy the whole association and process that comes with purchasing the music, from going into the store, to buying the cd, reading the linear notes and listening to it in a stereo. Thats just my personal opinion, for me you just can't beat the real deal!

ya i download songs from the internet.infact here in india its leagal and we have got lots of websites that give us this option.so if we are getting something free of cost why to spend money on it and buy it.and its more comfortable here as we can listen to the song before downloading it.if it sounds good i get it otherwise not.
but are we really getting these free of cost.i don't think so.when we are downloading something we are giving the internet service provider charges for it,if it exceeds the download limit.

Hi, angela2006.
I used to listen to the radio to know the new songs or buy some cassettes.
Nowadays, internet is so convenient for us in many aspects. Watching tv programs, listening beautiful songs, no matter they are old or new, can be finished online easily.
For me, I usually download songs from internet. There're so many opportunities for us and it also save some money. That's great.
Happy posting!
Have a great day! :)
