Birds, birds, birds: what kind is your favorite?

My favorite inside bird is a macaw I used to have one, I like them because they talk, and do tricks, you can take them with you where ever you go. They are very funny to watch. And the outside bird I love the most is the hummingbird, it is the smallest of all the birds.They consume 50% of their weight each day in sugar, they lap up the nectar with their tounges.they Fly so much that their feet are poorly developed, they can barly walk.They live 5-6 years.They can fly forward,backward,sidways and upside down.,They flap their wings 60-200 times a second. Their wings buzz.

well I love birds I have five cockatiels I have had three of them since they were babies the other two I adopted someone was moving and could not take them with her so I took them in and about a month ago I got a baby grrencheek conure who is very funny I call him kiki he is a clown very sweet and a few days ago i got a quaker parrot baby she is still very shy but makes lots of sounds cant wait till she learns to speak I like all kinds of birds I love my tiels because they learn whisltes like the wolf call the males can also speak I have 2 talkers hard to understand but I know what they are saying the conure will also learn to speak all of my birds have different personalities some are clowns some are very sweet its very entertaining watching them all play I have a bird room so they are not caged so lots of activity and different sounds I have 2 dogs and a at too but im a bigger bird lover lol

Oh my a bird discussion! I am in absolute love with birds and am completely mad with them. Unfortunately I don't stumble on upon too much discussions about birds. I have 8 quails, 2 budgies and a lorikeet who loves making telephone noise and tries to imitate us and I could go all day about them.

I absolutly love ducks. I think they are so beautiful and the fact that most people underestimate them makes them even more precious to me. I also have a fascination with parrots, but I've spent way too little time with them to develop a love for them.
