would the world be a better place if religion had never been founded or the bible never stumbled upon? what do you think?

I think it would be worst. People wouldn't believe in something 'greater' than them and people would always want to be better than anyone else. A good sample of the effects of religion could be seen in many places. For one thing, look at the schools in the US where they don't really push in religion class or morality. children are chaotic and problematic. They tend to go with groups who don't really help them at all. They are lost and don't know what and who to believe in. On the other hand, schools with at least a little education on religion and morality seems to be more promising. Well, I'm no expert but that's what I see. People may debate all their lives but we all know what's the truth. Religion gives a person a sense of belongingness, a sense of hope that no matter how bad his/her circumstance may be, there is a chance for him/her to be better.

By the way, here's a joke I read that would somehow keep the topic a little lighter. Have fun! Filling in one weekend for a priest at a neighboring parish, I called the church early Saturday to inquire about my Mass Schedule. I confess that I was taken aback when the caretaker picked up the phone. "Holy Angels," He answered, "Gabriel speaking." =) *LOL* What are the odds? hahaha

Maybe better because the majority of wars and political view are created through religious belifs and the differences of what people believe God is. If knowone thought about these differences maybe the world would be more peaceful. On the other hand there could be an exact opposite of opinion. People would say religion and belief in a God bring peace to all men.
