Recently I had to get surgey because I had appendicitis. I'm sort of sad about it, because I can't go swimming and I had my surgey on May 13th. I'm still getting over it. I start college Aug 21st, and This is just has taken half of my summer so far. I had dealt with the pain for a whole week before going to the hospital, since I had no idea. I wish I went earlier, else I wouldn't of had to deal with a tube, and for this long, which I still have the tube.
I went to the doctors today and he pulled it out a little more, and cut off the acces. Next week I have to return, but he didn't say much as to what would happen next visit.
If you've had appendicitis, how'd you know? No one has ever told me about it. I mean, i've heard of people getting their appendix removed, but I never knew the symtoms. I thought I pulled a musle really bad or something. I should of known someting was up when I was burning up really bad and getting fevers like crazy.

I believe it's supposed to be a sharp pain or something with fevers. I've never had it, but I did get a ruptured duodenum. The doctor told me at the hospital that it was just a little hole, well let me tell you it hurt like hell. It just happened one day, very sharp pain---constant pain that didn't go away. Anyway, I am glad you are okay. Don't worry, I wasn't allowed to go swimming either. I really don't like swimming too much anyway. Have a nice day.

as what i've known one of the symptoms of appendicitis is that you lie flat, then you bend your right foot, if you can't bend it so thats it you have that so called inflamed appendix. so all you have to do is to go to the doctor have a check up. as for me the symptoms that i got is that i got a fever and terrible headache. loss of appetite. and a terrible stomache ache because it is already ruptured. and its needs an operation.
