Is it OK to hook-up with your Ex?

My ex-girlfriend just called me and wanted to hang out. I know that if we hang out, it's just going to end badly. Every time I'm with her, it's sort of magnetic, however. We end up making eyes at each other and generally experience some sort of animal magnetism that gets us together. I think it has something to do with lust. However, my intellectual side says that this behavior is ultimately destructive. I should really just get a nice new girlfriend.

you were in love with her before so maybe there is still some emotions that she felt towards you. maybe shes over you but she just want to hang out with you and have fun. she might enjoy your company than anybody in the group.

i guess u should go get a nice girlfriend instead of getting back with ur ex jus because of lust... u noe it leads u to nowhere.. so why waste ur time? right? i mean.. u can have a good gf and start of everything else nicely... again? right?

It's just fine to hook up with your ex, but only if you don't have a new girlfriend or wife.

An EX is called an EX for a very good reason. Before you do hook up with her, ask yourself this "Why did she became your EX anyways if she still wants to hook up with you?" Me, I talk to my EX but I limit it. I don't let him come over , neither do I have fantasies about him. Well, maybe the other poster is right, it's ok if you don't have any new girlfriend or a wife. But hey, can't you find someone else? Ex's are bad deal. Unless you want them back in your life. Good luck!
