Putting kids on medicine so quickly

Do you believe that some parents are very quick to say that a child that has energy, has an attention disorder, and needs to be on medicine. I believe the doctors put them on to quickly also?

I agree that they do put them on the meds. to quickly..I don't know of anyone that is on meds. but it seems like that is all you hear..Everytime you turn around it seems like a child has ADHD, or something else..I know some children do need meds. but children are normally out going...My grandsons are very busy..

Some parents may be quick to try to put their kids on medicine yes. Others are not. I was getting comments from my son's teachers that he was not focusing or concentrating at the task on hand at school. So he went to the primary doctor and also a pyschologist. He is on Ritalin now and does much better at school.
