It was once written that REAL americans love to fart! Expellng gas is a natural phenomenon, but many have taken it to an art form. Granted this is gross in public or with mixed company, but what about the sanctity of one's own home? I have family member's that sound like a brass orchestra when they go off. Often they seek objects to enhance their oratorio such as wooden doors, oak furniture, plastic seat covers, etc. What's your opinion (or technique)?

Well I'm a Brit and we love toilet humour, too. It is juvenille of me, but I think farting is hilarious when done in a safe family environment. It is most amusing when somebody else smells you. My American husband and I are currently engaged in a fart war. I am winning.
Let me tell you of my favourite trick. It isn't easy, but if I can manage it I love to do an SBD at precisely the same time as my husband lets off a filthy middle aged blaster. When I do this he snorts up my fumes with great enthusiasm and enjoys them, because he thinks they came from his bottom and not mine. If he knew it was me he'd hate it. I get a kick out of that.
