I usually go to discussions from my interests first. Finding things I want to respond to is quicker there than just checking new discussions, depending of course on how long it's been since I've been on. I use "new discussions" a lot when I'm actually online for a while, because then I can keep up with what's starting now.
I like to check my friend's discussions too of course, but I don't usually do it first anymore. I don't know why. Usually I find plenty of discussions by my friends under my interests anyway.
Completely off topic, cute avatar. =)

Yup, we can have moving avatars, but sometimes it takes resizing them before they work. The only size I've gotten to work is 60x60, which is smaller than most of the .gif animations you can download, so you have to resize them first. I couldn't resist this one... Iruka-sensei is just too sweet! =P

Hehe, thanks! :)
I like yours too, I didn't know we could have moving avatars until I saw yours the other day...
Thanks for your response :).

Before opening mylot, I go to my email box, answer all the pending mails, mostly from mylot and mylot friends. Later when I come to mylot, I pick up messages, after replying them, I go to friends request, after approving the friends reqeusts, come to mylot users by rating to see where I stand. Then go to discussions with no responses (in one window) and in another windows I open the friends profiles to answer their discussions). Right now I am answering your discussion topics in one window and in nother I am attending to discussions with no response.

I hit my site and check who has responded to what discussions. Then I answer any friends requests and messages. My approach on my site is a response to every response before going anywhere else. It is my way of letting members know that I value their participation in Perspectives topics and always want to foster true discussion forums by commenting and developing threads.
It may mean I have less time to go elsewhere...but I love the connections I have to those within my sharing circle and prioritize accordingly.

I do the response to every response thing too, but it's nice and easy for me since I only have a few discussions. Thanks for your response :).

Thanks for your response, now that I actually have a few discussions to check I too check the discussions I have made first. Since as of about a week or two ago I'm trying to reply to everyone who responds to my discussions :).

I saw that discussion earlier too, I think a few weeks ago I read something similar, which is what prompted me to reply to all my responses.

Heh, that makes sense, I find it easier to look at each individual section straight away though rather than a few examples from each...
