do you still care to use your cellphone even if you don't have loads anymore?

I have a friend who keeps on bringing her cellphone and if you'll ask her to text once she'll always say oh!..sorry I don't have a load. If I don't have a load I would rather leave that phone at home... how about you?

What are loads? Hmm.. I don't think we have those in the US. I'll assume those are like pre-paid minutes/texts where if you don't have any the phone is useless? I guess if my phone had limited texting and calling minutes, I would still bring it with me everywhere because there's a lot of other things it does - like taking pictures, I often use the calculator, the time. People also often have information in the cellphones that they might need at any given time, so it's definitely understandable if they bring it everywhere - even if they can't exactly call or text.

yes, cellphone loads are the same as prepaid minutes/texts. and you are right. a cellphone can be used for other things too, like taking pictures, etc.

Thanks! I figured...though not many people here use pre-paid, we get much more out of our cellphones with a plan. I couldn't live without my cellphone's functions, calling and texting are really one of the most basic things a phone does. Phones nowadays can help in so many other ways.

having no cellphone load just means one can't make outgoing text messages or calls. but calls and text messages may be received. that's probably why your friend still carries her cellphone with her even if she doesn't have load. she may want people to be able to contact her still.

by the way, i'm a postpaid subscriber so i don't really worry about having cellphone loads. but if i were a prepaid subscriber, i'd probably bring my phone always even if i don't have prepaid credits.

Hi there. I have 2 mobile phones that I use, both of these are prepaid, someitmes one hardly has credit and the other does... If anyone asks me to borrow my for one tx I simply say "No Way" unless your going to credit my phone... The other thing, if a person doesnt have credit, It doesnt mean they should leave it at home, I wouldnt leave my phone at home, incase of important incoming calls or tx messages...

Yes i still use my cellphone even if i don't have load. Its still important for me to receive messages or calls. If i don't have load then they call me up.

Mine is a post paid connection of mobile, so there is no problem of load. I need to pay the bills, at the end of billing cycle. I can use my cell phone anytime anywhere. Good Post!

I do have cellphone but I seldom put a load coz I know I don't have anything to call or to text too.. But I do always bring it whenever I go coz If someone will call ot text me I can recieve it. And If its really important to call them back It is now to buy a load whenever you see there's a lot of loading station around here in my place..
