Last night while on the net i caught notice of an article stating that that a girl named Pooja Chauhan from Rajkot,which is a village in India took to the street nearly in semi nude state with a baseball bat in her hand to protest against the mental and physical harassment for bearing a girl child and not being able to bring dowry, a ritual practised in the Hindu religion whereby the girl's parents has to gift money to her in laws so as the latter keep their daughter happy i think. I was shocked but really appreciate the courage of that girl koz her husband along with her in laws were arested immediately arrested after. Is girl child bearing a problem also at your place? What is your reaction after reading this? Aren't you astonished to hear what is happening in other country? Can such things still be tolerated? I never thought that girls could be so courageous. What is your opinion about that girl? Shouldn't she be acclaimed?or you think that she has not done the right thing?
