How to speed up internet?

my pc run faster before... after several months it freezed and found out some virus and spyware were on my system... I tried to get rid those things and successfully done it but My pc never run read faster....Do you an idea what should i do to make my browsing and video uploading faster? If you knew, kindly tell me the sites....

first thing is you should have a good antivirus with a firewall installed in your pc.as you are using internet your pc is very prone to virus and spyware.and they degrade performance of your pc.so try out the best antivrus program you have.i personally recommend "zone alarm secutiry suite".it requires a license for the full version.you can get it from any site that gives license.for the software visit:

then next step is to clean your pc from junk and temporary internet files.for this use "ccleaner".its a freeware and you can get it from:

you can optimize your registry using this software also.then go for disk defragmentation.now your pc have no reason to be slow.
for speeding up internet access,use mozilla firefox as your browser.its really fast and secure from virus and pop-ups.then there is "tcp optimization" software also to speed up your internet speed.for increasing your download speed use "download accelerator plus".you can get them in the same site:www.download.com
just type the name in the search bar.

I've done what you want me todo but still freaks me out...Does tcp optimizer need to put some data on it coz' i don't know how? I'vw already had it and run but it worsen my connection....I used mozilla firefox now but it freeze more than a minute....Any suggestion? thanks

well i haven't used tcp optimizer myself as i have never needed it.so i don't have any idea regarding it.but i know that it increases internet speed.
as you said your browser freezes, then try reinstalling it.may be the .exe file has been corrupted.i think you have a virus or spyware that your antivirus is not detecting.i would suggest you better go for a reformatting of your pc and then try what i have said.may be it will solve the problem.

I think if your pc is still alright, means there is no bad sectors yet you may try to run Disk Defragmenter, it helps organized your files according to types and somehow helps your pc run faster. Delete also unnecessary files and some temporary files in documents and settings which enable your pc free some space. Hope these may help.

I had that problem before with my internet speed so slow it would take forever just to download a song! Then I came across the speedguide.net, it is great! There is a free download for a TCP Optimizer that speed up your internet! I have high speed internet with my dialup because of speedguide.
You should also clean up all your old files from your PC. I am using the CClean free download to clean my PC and it is also really good! In fact, Microsoft is the one who recommended it to me.
If you really want a high speed internet connection with faster page loads you should get the TCP Optimizer from speedguide.

thanks for sharing your tips in speeding up the pc. i used the TCP Optimizer for my broadband connection and it's working faster now. thanks too, for giving us the info about CClean which helped me cleaned my PC. you are an angel from above liyan97.

using tweak xp software you can speed up your internet speed.... it is better to use minimum 256 kpbs speed..because if we using dial up it is very limited one can boost 300 times than actual speed by this software...and also by net boost software we can also increase the download speed
