Easiest Way to Grow Up As A Person

A friend of mine sent me a quote early this morning. "The easiest way to grow up as a person is to surround yourself with people smarter than you are.." Is that right? I mean I've met people who're smarter than me and I learned a lot from them. However, there're also people whom I've met that aren't that smart but they have cool personality and good character that made me see a lot of things that're really valuable in life.. But then again, growing up as a person do not necessarily depend on what kind of people that surround you, right?

I don't think it really matters who you surround yourself with, you are who you are. Smart people may seem more grown up, but really, in the end, who wants to grow up anyway. Kids have more fun, guess that's why I still act a bit like it, lol! I think we've all got a bit of kid left in us, just that some of us don't care if it shows or not!

Growing old is inevitable - but growing up is optional. I guess for me growing up means learning a lot of things and experiencing the deep. It also means becoming independent, right? But I still love being a kid, dependen. It's less stressful, and you don't have to worry about a lot of things. Hahaha.. :)

Yeah, I guess that is a fair reason for growing up, just remember that once you've learnt and experience heaps(mylot seems to be good for learning stuff, lol), you have the option of not taking life too seriously!

Kids never really take life seriously, do they? That's why they're happy - feeling all secured by their parents or guardians. Some adults take life seriously, while some don't. Those who don't should, though.. Yikes, sounding like a know-it-all! Hahaha!.. What do I even know about taking life seriously, anyway. I'm still dependent. :)

It depends on your attitude. If you move with smarter people you should not have any comlex that you are not so smart. You should be positive and learn from them, Then only you will learn lrarn somrthing from them.

A good and positive attitude does count, does it not? But I think it's also a big help when you surround yourself with smart or smarter people because you get to learn a lot of things from them. Right? :)

Growing up is not depend on people surround you. They only affect on the process of your growing. If you go with bad friends, they may lead you to a bad growing and vice versa. Thus, just choose friends to study good things. Your growing up depend on yourself.

That's a good thought. You're absolutely, right. While some may hinder you from growing up, others can actually help you become the person who you want to be, right? God bless! :)
