boredom from workplace

here i am with 9days without work, kind weird coz im not used to it....but because im not happy with what im doing in my previous company, i waived goodbye.. im bored to death with what im doing, that i wanted to cry...since this is not my first time, but working or being workaholic is what makes me human... now its a challenge to find another work...but sad to say the competencies in the industries is complicated and stiff...so guys what do you suggest to be happy and contented???????
