Being human, one always think of new ideas, the innovation or something really new to be learnt. Well, it really depends upon the capability & capacity and of course the aptitude too. Here we have a novice guy, who wants to learn about the working from scratch and asked me to be his trainer / teacher :) Keeping in view the past experience of training some colleagues of different caliber, I hope this guy will take less time to learn as he has deep interest and asks so many potential questions. What do you think about yourself if you are sent to a new work department? Would you like to know each and every aspect or just subjective, having some key points? Do you feel good to learn indepth in order to make your future career strong?

The way I see it, if someone really likes the job they are about to be trained in, the more interest they will have in it and the more they will want to learn about it. If they dislike the job, chances are, they won't last long with it. Now with me, if I like the job, I bombard the person training me with tons of questions. My boss now, I think, cringes whenever she knows it's me calling cause it took her 3 days to answer all my questions and I'm still asking whenever I need to know something. lol

I know now when she doesn't call me back within a day, she's avoiding me. lol Pisses me off as well, but, if I call her several times or tell her I really need to talk to her about something, like a customer or finding someone to help me out, she will call me back asap. We get along great and sometimes I'll just call her to pick on her and visa versa. lol

Hello Friend! I must add here that sometimes there is professional jealousy among the colleagues and the knowledge being imparted is not fully delivered. You are doing good, if you are not a professional trainer, isn't it? I believe that this is the aptitude one have to learn. I am good with mine too.

Generally i take great interest in learning somethiong new. But one should at first think it worth learning or not. No body can jack of all trades and start learning all under the sun. In that case you are going to expertise in nothing. I also have faced several people whom I had to impart training. I also have seen people with initiative learn faster.

When taking up new assignment I would like to have all the details about it. In the absence of full knowledge I would be tend to improvise and eventually it may lead to mistakes. So I go fir the full details. I will ask several doubts. Thank you aliasad.
