There are a lots of different religions or beliefs in the world like Moslems,Christians,Hebrews,Taoism,Buddhism,Judaism, and etc. I am a Christian. I and my family are members of Church of God (7th day)which was founded in Salem, West Virginia,USA. I just wonder if some of mylotters are also a member of this organization. So,which do you belong?

I don't follow any orthodox religion, but if I was to put a label on it, I guess I am nearest to Zen Buddhism. Zen isn't a religion but more of a way of life. I don't attend any church as I am of the opinion that if God is everywhere, I don't need to look very far to find Him. One of the rules of Zen is that I never interfere with the religious beliefs of others, which is very similar to the non-judgement. I was born and baptized a Christian, but I always felt that it wasn't for me :-)

We go to church to feel the presence of God. He gave us seven days to work and do what we want and He just asked us one day to rest and worship Him that is why we go to church. But you are definitely right. God is everywhere but we should also have to feel His presence if we believe on Him. Thanks for sharing derek.

Yes you are right sugarfloss, religion and beliefs keeps us sane. Though we have different beliefs,we worship only one God. And that is important. Thanks for responding.

Hi vonne28th - I am a Christian - Greek orthodox to be exact. The Orthodox and Catholics used to be combined but split due to some differences many hundreds of years ago -Orthodoxy has not changed in essence over the years.

Oh really? I never know that fact. But as long as Orthodox and Catholics worship the same God,that would be fine enough. Thanks urbangirl.

Hello! I know that Hindus are worshipping different Gods and Goddesses, right? I see a lots of them in the picture. And i think some has their own favorite God or Goddess. I see that you are a devotee of Lalitha Devi which i think a Goddess. That's good that you also a good worshipper. Thanks mymytri.
