Hi there. Ive read a few good books. One book that really helped me out with an injury from sport was a book written by an Author Called Louise L. Hay, who wrote "You Can Heal Your Life"... Here is a link to where you can buy this book from:
www.amazon.ca/You-Can-Heal-Your-Life/dp/1561706280
Let me know what you thought of it, if you do decide to get it, this book is also availiable in Public Libraries...
Good luck and All the best...

My all-time favorite book is "Where the Heart Is" by Billie Letts. It was featured as one of the books in Oprah's Book Club. It was also made into a movie, which was okay, but most definitely not as good as the book. This book has a lot of life lessons written into it in such a way that you don't realize it. I have read this book at least 30 times.

Ooohhh!! I'm excited. I hope you enjoy the book. I know I did. I still enjoy it whenever I have nothing new to read. It's great. Please let me know what you think of it, after you read it.

if you are wanting a little light reading, and enjoy science fiction and fantasy, I suggest anything by Anne McAffery, especially her Pern series. Her books are geared for the older teen, younger adult, but I still enjoy them at 55. Like I said, light reading.

Kiss of God: The Wisdom of a Silent Child by Marshall Stewert Ball. Marshall was 13 when this book of his writings was published. If you have ever wondered about the pure Godly wisdom often possessed by children, Marshall's writings will touch your heart and life beyond imagination.

There are many books that have touched my life I'm not sure which particular genre you want--religious or non. Anyway, I want to recommend a book I read recently and it almost made me cry--"Vanishing Voices"While I posted here that I was wishing for one global language, I also have a heart for dying languages.
"Vanishing Voices" by Nettle and Romaine narrates the story of dying languages because of assimilation, genocide and more. You can read more on my blog here http://www.blogchex.com/pedagogist/
