Is what apple did right? side lining it's computer priorities for the iphone, which in the end turned out to be a rather sad piece of gadgetry.. what bothers me most is why they postponed the release date of the new OS by months saying they needed more resources for the iphone!

The iPhone will revolutionize communications similar to what the iPod did to the music industry. The opportunity to release the new OSX will come later and postponing it will not harm Apple as much as postponing the iPhone launch. We must consider Apple's best interests as a company.

I don't think it will revoloutionise communication, because we have to n95 supporting 3G and 3.5G and WiFi when on the other hand iphone oly has the ancient technology of 2.5G. The transfer rates of the n95 are many time more than that of the iphone!

this iPhone is really intriguing. A lot of us here wanted to have one but unfortunately, it is not yet available in the Philippines. :( Don't know also it the features will work here considering every WAP browse is being charged per kilobyte! Wow, what more with internet browsing?!

it's the same situation here in india, all except one of the carriers are having kilobyte tarriffs!
