I don't know how this could happen either. She must of been in such a bad state mentally and physically to want to have killed her child. I don't know why anyone would do this!

I would not class these people as human. They are the devil in human form and pure evil, i would not stop for them if they were dying in the street.

Hey this is brutal devislish act of inhumanness,attrocity. She is not a mother at all..she is beast.. yeah no second thoughts about it. And she deserves capital punishment..... This is the first discuusion that made my blood to boil....

People don't value girls as much in that part of the world anyway. In India they still kill baby girls; in China they throw them away in orphanages.
I've got a question for *you.* People who kill their own children are indeed horrible. How, then, do these questions only come up when it's the MOTHER doing it, and not when the father does? In the U.S. we're lucky, if you can call it that, to hear anything about men killing their own kids. Most of the time it does not make the national news. Let one woman kill a child, though, and the whole country's ready to lynch her.
I live for the day when mothers and fathers are held to an EQUAL standard that says it is wrong no matter WHO does it. A few people here commented that "anyone who does that is sick" but again, this sort of discussion ONLY comes up and is widespread when a MOTHER does it. Giving birth is not insurance against being criminally insane.
