What is the best way or method to lose weight?

This discussion is open for anyone throughout the world. Share your ideas! How do you keep your body in shape? If you ever become overweight, what would you do to lose the weight? Would you rely on dietary supplements such as canned drinks? Powder or pills? Or would you join the fitness centers for exercise? If you give your input, don't based on what others say, give your own input instead.

hey bluemestizo!the best way or method to lose weight is by running.RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!I run with Mum every morning at the lake.I've been overweight once and I can't afford to be overweight again.I've been running about a year now and I eat less carbo now.I take mediaxal for my cholesterol level.I'm not very keen in joining commercial gyms.Hope this helps!

Hi there. Maybe going to consult your doctor or nutrionists, even going to visit a gym, all these people are trained to help customise diet plans and exercise plans to suit your body type... I simply punch and kick a boxing bag vigorously every morning for 35-40 minutes, its worth the sweat up and I walk around the beach every other morning... I drink loads of water, cut down on fatty foods and eat more fruit and vege, but thats me... I hope you find whats best for you, if your looking... All the best to you bud and keep on keeping on...

I move around alot more...walk, climb stairs as much as possible, and so on. I make a conscious effort not to be lazy. I eat alot less fat, and I eat every few hours, to keep my metabolism going strong. I ride my bike, too. And swim if I can get to a pool. I'm not skinny, but I'm not overweight either. I could stand to lose about 5 or 8 more pounds..I just need to move around some more. I also stopped drinking so much soda pop, and cut down on bread and pasta, and peanut butter. And pizza.

i think the best way to loose weight is to eat healthy and excercise.it will make you physically fit.
first thing i would tell that you should be alert about your calorie intake per day as 3500 calories help to gain 1 pound.just try eating more nutritious food like leafy vegetables and fibre in your diet rather than fatty foods and fast foods or junk foods.i would suggest you to eat garlic daily after getting up in the morning in empty stomach or any other time of the day.it will avoid the deposition of fat in your body and will maintain the cholestrol level.
about excercising i would say walking is best.don't sit at one place continuosly.just walk around for 5-10 mins and then come and do your work.just try to walk everytime.if you have to go somewhere then instead of getting the car you can walk.its the simplest and easiest excercise ever.cycling will do also.
i would suggest never go on pill.it will rather make the situation worse leading to health problems.

Excercise and healthy eating is very important to lose weight. For me, I'm really lazy to excercise so I used to rely on pills prescribed by the doctor. It is really unhealthy and cannot be taken on a long term basis because it plays with your nerves and brain.
