Do you expect your boyfriend or husband to carry your handbags?

I've seen some men shopping with their girlfriends carry the handbags. The sight is a little funny but I find it kind of sweet and will be happy if my bf/husband will do it for me. What about you? I am also interested in the opinion of men. Will you do it and why?

I would not mind carrying the shopping bags, as its always better to share the workload between the partners.
