Aureal 8830 WDM sound card and its registry problem

Hi, I have got PIII 500MHz machine with Aureal 8830 WDM sound card. At the start it was working fine with win98. Recently, I have loaded win XP and it was not supporting the sound. I downloaded the driver from the net and loaded the same and the sound starts working fine. But recently my machine got attacked by virus and and I used regcure to remove the problem and then the real problem started. Now my audio is not working even after uninstalling and then reinstalling the sound card driver. It is showing the trouble lies with registry. Can u help me in this regard. Subhash
