I am soooooo excited!

I went shopping today for a new video camera because our old one broke after several years of use. It was great my hubby(who was not with me) said just don't get the tiny ones. I brought my best friend with me yesterday to do some window shopping for one and found one that I really liked. Although it is a small one! Anyway, I wanted to clear it with my hubby before I actually made the purchase and when we were having supper yesterday(My friend and myself) he called and I explained it to him and he agreed to let me get it. Unfortunately the store was closed by about 5 minutes by the time we got back to it so I went for another trip today to get it. Now I am impatiently waiting for it to charge the battery so that I can play. It is a cannon DC100 it uses a dvd which is awesome but more expensive.

Hey Inky, don't be too envious yet anyway, I haven't been able to use it cause I can't get the dvd to initialize and it needs to do that before I can record on it. I am a little frustrated with it. LOL. It was a really good price to. My hubby was so surprised when I told him how much it was! :)

Hey Inky if you get one make sure to find out which dvd's it uses. I bought the dvd-rw+ and it uses the dvd-rw- That's what was giving me all my problems. So now I am set to shoot! LOL. Well will be when the battery charges again. *sigh*

Nice to be missed. I was busy promoting my program and ran out of time to come on here - boo hoo! When I am mega rich soon I will be able to retire and spend more time on here.

Hey magicalmerlin, it's been a while! LOL. I am very excited about the camera. It is so cool, I am having a problem though and can't record with it yet. Very frustrating. Oh well I will have it fixed by the time I need it I am sure. :)

I am happy for you. I believe by the time I am typing this, you already have recorded so many beautiful moments with your family. I haven't a video camera yet, but I have one with my hand phone which can record video and browse the internet. I am not using it much, so many having it in my hand phone is enough.

I have recorded a fair amount with it yes. My best friends daughter had a birthday party for a friend at their place this past weekend and I let them use it for that as well. :) I to have all that with my phone I also have a dig. camera for stills that will take video as well but it is nice to have the video cam anyway. The vid. cam will take stills as well so no matter what I have with me I can do anything with it! LOL. Thanks for the comment:)

Thanks! I decided to get the re-writable disks for now so I can play without worrying about wasting a disc. LOL. It will take some time to get something worth putting on here but will do when I get it! :)

Oh ya I am going to have fun with this one! I don't even have to worry about it taping over things cause it goes to a blank spot on the dvd before recording! Thanks! :)

i wood like to make movies about life. i like to watch people on the bus when i come home. i wood like to picture them on the camera but i afraid as some wear short skirts i might get told off. i not look at the short skirts as i blush. one time at chrismas i have drink and on way home i laugh as i look at the pretty girls. i not ask any out though. not yet.

I have a feeling this is going to be an early birthday present for me. My b.day is in September. LOL I was shocked when talking to my hubby about it he asked why it was so cheap! LOL. I knew then I would have it. Hehehe. I love it when he sees things my way! LOL :)
