Just plain lazy

For many days I haven't posted anything in mylot and have not replied to any discussions. I guess I had reached a point where I just want to take a breather and let things go easy. There is this feeling of discontent that I have right now that just won't go away. I can't concentrate enough to think of a good reply and I can't also get myself to stay long in front of the computer. It seems that I just had enough. Like most things, this is just something that would just pass and I just had to let this feeling that I have right now go. Anyone here who experienced something like this before or is just feeling like the way I do now?

There is no bigger harm one can inflict on oneself than being lazy. I never like to be lazy, never like to lethargic. There is a greater joy in keeping ourselves busy with one work or the other.

I agree with you. But sometimes one needs to take a breather too. Being naturally lazy is bad, but being lazy after doing a lot of things and slowing things down is actually part of self-preservation. Gosh! See how I justify my being lazy. he he he!

You seem to be embracing laziness. May god bless you in your lazy endeavours?

God bless you too. I hope you don't also breakdown with too much hardwork. I remember what a famous author once wrote...Honor yourself with preservation.

I have a few times. I don't see any harm in taking a break from it for a few days. I mean it is summer time so why not :)

Are you burnt out? I just had the same feeling with you. It seems like my mind is too tired to think. I have already exhausted all my knowledge on the topics here. So many questions but others have the same and I wish I could post a comment but alas I also am yearning for answers. I think I am just burnt out. Need to take a deep breath and unwind my mind. Divert my attention to other stuff like cross stitching or playing piano. Then I hope to be able to come back invigorated and energized.

I think I have been subjecting myself to too much work and stress. Aside from my work, I have 2 other money making side lines that is really stressing me out but its somethign that I just cant give up. About 2 weeks ago I just woke up with the feeling of too much commitments that I just had to drop everything and take a deep breath.

Well you cannot possibly be rearing to go all the time and it is good for the soul to take a little time out every now and then. No harm in that. Just take it easy and do what you can when you can. No rush on here...

You just hit the nail. There are days really that sitting in front of the computer or doing any work just doesn't motivate me and all I want to do is sit in front of the TV and gorge on junk foods. LOL! As you said, enjoy! I love just relaxing.
