Not yours but God's will be done!

I've come to think about this one because, its been a while that i've been doing a hardwork just to pursue and realize what i really wanted to be. In every endeavor that I am into, i certainly know what am i gonna be if i succeeded this particular plan.., just like everybody down there.
But its just that what I am wanting to be is not that is being sent and brought to me. I mean, it seems that I was shifted to another way, a different journey in life. It's like i feel and came to believe that God really does everything and He really knows what is best for all of us.
So, from then on, i realized and came to say to myself that, "God, whatever it takes, i should abide and live within your will.
How about you guys, did it happened to you that you neglect your own wills and listen and wait to God's?

Hi Mike,
That happens, and that is what we call fate and destiny in Hinduism.. We decide one thing but GOD wills another way. What God wills for us will be the best way for us. If you can believe in that and in GOD, your path will be an easy one to wade through. I have seen this many times in life. I have lived my life as per God's dictates. It has been a smooth life for me because whenever I pray I ask him to take me through the straight and the easier of the ways I have to travel in my life. I believe GOD has always been with me and shown me the way I have to go. All the best
