what can you say about Brussels?

my partner shall be in brussels for the next three months. what are the interesting places to go, must buy things there, adjacent countries to visit, etc? what will be the season there for the following months? what clothes should he bring? what are the customs and traditions?

I loved Brussels, a very big city. Such wide streets and fancy buildings. Everything is eluminated and the streets at night have a very different light. And it is the place of the European Union.
I have relatives there.
He shall bring you embroidery, fancy tablecloth home as a souvenir and their excellent chocolate.
It should be summer now and quite warm but alas it is rainy and pretty cool. The weather could change again. The dress code is a bit more formal, Brussels is a capital, seat of the European Union and the King of Belgium is there, too.
