I find Dhoni plays fine in one down position, When ever he gets a chance to play at one down he scored good runs, But he is not given the chance again. He can play agood knock around when he comes in when the fielding restriction is on.

one down seems to b the ideal spot for a player like dhoni...he s an amazing cricketer who acts to a given situation...but indian team lacks a batsman who can fire at the end overs..so its a very difficult to decide dhonis place....but i think if he bats at one down me can expect many big innings from him....

No.. He just played two big innings at one down...He has never been a promise to the team and has never played a good innings in a tough/critical situation. We saw that in the World cup. A batsman playing at one down must have a very strong mindset so as to play in pressure situations..Dhoni has neve before played in a single presseure situation. So definitely you have to find another Dravid or Ganguly for that job. I hope Dinesh Karthik suits that well........
