how can you tell if somebody's lying?

same here, I'm not that good in telling if someone's lying. But I guess, when their story changes when they tell it. GUess thats one thing.

I am only really good at telling if my children are lying, but I think some of the signs are the same. With adults it is harder to tell, because, well. . .they are more experienced with it. With my kids I can tell because they don't look me in the eye and get restless. If it is an ongoing lie, their story usually changes a few times.

Usually, when somebody lies, he does not look into your eyes, or he is looking to your eyes, but somehow behind your eyes... Also when he begins to think what to say and during the thinking he/she is looking up-right : it means that he/she is looking among his memories. up-left : it means that he/she is just making a lie for you. Try it with your best friend! Ask her about a memorable moment you did together, then ask her to lie about something. I wish you to break all relationships with those people who ever lied to you, in this way you can trust in those who deserve it.

if I do know that person for a long time ago, I would know if they are lying for look into their eyes or for look at the hands.

facial expression..jus immediately after he completes the sentence..often he tries to end it quicker n then removes eye to eye contact..dat is a sure shot indication that sumthin is fishy.1!

its actually very easy to know that if a person is lying to u or not ...dont read his mind coz no one can do that just look at his physical behaviour he will definetly do smthing odd like my friends i can easily detect now that if they are lying to me or not ..one of my friend wn he lies he move his hand a lot ,another cant look into my eyes wn he lies etc but normally u can detect frm his eyes coz its not easy to contract eyes wn smone lies and yaa one of them gives a weared smile wn he lies!!
