is it really necessary to put my picture or any image here as my avatar? does it provide value or something?
how can i put an image as my avatar? thank you. i'm still familiarizing myself with the website and any help is appreciated. :)

i don't think it's actually necessary to put your picture or avatar here, it just hmm shall we say help in getting to know you, if you place your picture then we are able to put a face to the name and if you put something else, like a flower perhaps, then we realize you like flowers, if you put in an anime pic like goku or gohan, then we see your fondness for anime or cartoons.. something like that...
