Have you ever gotten a psychic reading?

If so, was it accurate? Do you consider psychic readings to be strictly for "entertainment value" or are they a valuable tool in evaluating your relationships/life?
I have had several reading done over the years and about 50% were incredibly accurate. One psychic even predicted how I would meet my current husband--detail for detail!

No I have never gotten a reading from a physic- I think it would be
fun- but then again I would be scared- I don't want to know what is
going to happen to me- I just want to live my life my way-
How can you be sure that the physic didn't influence you- and you had
it in the back of your head- I will meet my husband this way- Just a
thought!!

True, I mean, what if a psychic told you that you were going to die on a certain day, you might unconsciously make it happen!

The most accurate reading was how and when I was going to meet my current husband, she also knew certain personal things about him (i.e. that he had an extra tear duct). It ended up being entirely accurate which is why I tend to pay attention to specific detailed readings vs. general ones.

I did have my cards read more than once. Personally I think of it as more entertainment than anything. I don't take it all that seriously. Both times(each different readers) they basically predicted general things that you can assume will happen eventually in anyones life...new car,new job ...you will be hurt...etc.

I try and take everything with a grain of salt. When a reading gets incredibly detailed, I do pay close attention--because as you said, anyone can predict the expected changes that will happen over the course of your life, but it seems more difficult to predict detailed events with an accurate timeline.
