Today i got pretty much pissed because of something my parents told me...i am not really going into the details since that stuff is kind of private but my question is... Why bother going to a certain college, why bother getting a job, WHY BOTHER LIVING A BORING MEDIOCRE LIFE ? I see people daily going to work, coming home and then watching tv...why bother doing all of this if you can't really achieve anything in your lifetime...if you don't do something that people will remember you for....i am not saying to go around killing people (although that is the easy way in this) but still...doing something in your life....
greatness is reserved for those who are willing to reach for it...

I do agree with you for the most part of what you have said. Sometimes i think that this world can become repetitive because of the same old job day after day and the way we live our lifes in a routine. However, not everyone can become a person of greatness.
You need to remember that greatness in one persons eyes is normality in another persons eyes. Only as individuals can we define what would mean labelling ourselves as achieving something great because only the individual truly knows their limits.

i think it was Pico de la Marendola or something in that direction who said that We were born with the ability to become what we want to be.... i simply consider that most people just get a lame old job because they are afraid of trying to get more...simply put...you can go for it and lose everything you have or don't even try and lose it from the start....

i dont think people settle for less because they are afraid but rather because they dont want it enough to go the extra mile.
