hello decent07,
i am really sorry for such state.but there is nothing to panic.
i would say along with a antivirus, you should have an antispyware and a firewall installed in your pc as you are having frequent access to internet.moreover you are downloading stuffs also.
i recommend "ZONE ALARM SECURITY SUITE".its really working great.i also had this problem 3 months back and i was using mcafee.then i switched to this one.and since then i don't find any problems in my pc.
you can get it from :
www.download.com
just type the name in the search bar and you will get it.but the problem is you have to provide a key to get its full version.you know untill you don't pay you can't get reasonable things.if you can arrange the license then its good.otherwise try the trial version for 30 days and see the difference.

key is the license that is given when you buy a software.but most people don't buy them.rather they borrow and use the software with the same key.but if its known to the person concerned then that license won't work anymore.so its always advised to use such programs after closing internet connection.you can get it from any site where people post their licenses.and try out which onw works for you.if you are lucky then you would get one.i did the same thing and its working for me.

thankyou what do you mean by key. and how much i have to pay .i think i have some thing like alarm security in my computer . if there is some thing which is affected by virus there is a sign and i cancel that site .but unfortunatley by doing all this there still viruse affect any way i will try all the solution which i got from mylot friend hope it will work and i dont need to use format method again.

No antivirus will catch them all. Your best bet is to use virtualization. If you're not constantly downloading and installing new software, you could get comfortable with a solution like Returnil. It works like Faronics DeepFreeze, automatically erasing all changes to Drive C upon reboot. The personal version is available for free here: http://www.returnilvirtualsystem.com/index_files/rvspersonal.htm
Note that you need to save files to a flashdrive, or a separate partition, or in the virtual partition rather than their usual locations, otherwise they too will be erased upon reboot. Hope this helps!
P.S.: There is a way to harden your system and still be able to routinely save files, and that's to lock the registry and kernel. But I'd have to give you step-by-step instructions on how to do this, as a mistake could cripple Windows and necessitate a reformat. There are also some programs that may not work when system32 is locked to ROM.

Virtualization is where all data residing on the hard drive prior to the enabling of protection is retained intact. Any changes to anything on the hard drive (e.g. downloads, cookies, Windows log files, new documents, changes to existing documents, etc.) are held in a "buffer" that is corralled off from your permanent files, and easily erased.
In cases of Returnil Virtual Zone or Faronics DeepFreeze, erasure of such changes is performed automatically every time the computer is rebooted, making such software ideal for public or shared computers. And now that the landscape of online threats is becoming so hostile, these two are quick and easy fixes that will prevent permanent damage from threats. Even if a virus tries to overwrite or erase files, including files belonging to the virtualization software, the files come right back.

Hi decent07
About a week ago i was reading on the "BBC" website about general security issue`s on keeping safe online,it suggested a fabulous antivirus company called;"F SECURE",so i paid a visit, and did a live online scan, and yes it found not 1 but 3 viruses on my computer,(by the way my AVG missed them)it cleaned them off straight away,i have used many antiviruses, but this is really the tops, try it out and i bet you it finds a virus on you computer!p.s (it is free!)
