Mine really hates getting his teeth brushed. We have to get him a toothbrush with his favourite character on it and it plays music! He still hates brushing his teeth but it's a little better now than before! What about your child? What daily activity do they not like?

My daughter used to hate brushing. We did the same thing...bought her a toothbrush with her favorite character and still nothing. What did the trick was when she opened a container in the bathroom and found my mom's dentures! I told her that if she didn't brush her teeth, her teeth would end up like Granny's! That did the trick.

My son is going to begin kindergatem in about6 weeks...we study every day...there are days when his attention span is less than desireable....we usually attempt something else like a "field trip" out into the yard or to the lake or river on these days.... We bought our son the new "kool blue" to assist in interesting tooth brushing...it is a blue rinse that he spits out and the blue coloring attaches to any plaque left on his teeth...it really helped him to learn how to brush good... Hope this helps....

I will definitely have to do something like that when he's older. He's only 2 now.

There are two ways to look at the problem: 1. Producing a child, when born, raise the child without complain, until he/she becomes independent. In the process, one should do the work for the child and also to teach the child, the rudiments. 2. Seeing every aspect of child's life as your problem. I choose the first one.

My 2 year old son also hates to brush his teeth. If i try to brush his teeth he calls his father and if he tries brushing he calls me. Then finally we have to get them brushed forcefully and then there go his tantrums.

My child doesn't like to eat vegetable. So I think this is activity that he hates. I can't think out a good way to solve it yet. I still try to hide the vegetable in the foods. If he realizes it, he will refuse to it. So I have to do it very secretly.

i remember my son in his younger years he hated homeworks. first i was worried that he might end up a bum or the worst any parent can think of. so slowly i gave him room and a little talk now and then explaining why homeworks are important part of growing up before i knew it became a part of his daily routine. just be patient soon your son will realize the importance of brushing his teeth.

My daughter is 7 and she still hates brushing her teeth. It makes me so mad because she doesn't like the kids toothpaste and she doesn't like the mint toothpaste. I keep telling her that if she doesn't brush at night, while she is sleeping bugs will get in her mouth and eat all the crud off of them~ is that bad of me. It helps stop the fighting about it some nights.

Ha ha ha, is kids all the same? Mine too! Especially early in the morning. They are fine prior going to bed at night and after meals.
