My kids are the same way. That is as long as we don't actually try to clean them lol. my 2 year old scoots around the tub to avoid a hair washing, and my four year old will whine that she isn't ready to be cleaned off yet. But they do love to play in there for as long as they can get away with it.

I don't have kids, but both my nephews love bath time.
It's a chore to get them in, but once they're in, they want to stay in forever!
I remember how I loved baths too when I was little, but now I love a good bath because it relaxed me ;)
Plus, when you're little, you have a ton of room to splash around and play with your toys ;)

Love bath time?LOL,that's a funny question.....I have a 10 year old who baths twice a day.....not shower,bath.....the minute she gets up,she's in the tub.....she spends her entire day in the pool or at the beach and the minute she gets home, she's back in the tub....no one could ever tell me she stinks!LOL

Oh yes all the time. It's hard to get him out sometimes and he's all wrinkly and shivering but says he isn't cold. I try not to make a habit of it because then he starts to get a runny nose the next day lol. The most I have ever let him stay in the bath was for about 30 mins or thereabouts.
He always pretends he is a sea mammal like a dolphin or whale LOL it's really funny, then he pretends he's swimming and kicks his feet and most of the water that was in the bath, is now on the floor LOL

my youngest two will only take a bath if it is with his brother. If I give him one by himself he will scream the whole time. Thankfully his brother 4 years old does not mind taken a bath with brother. My daughter likes bath until we pour water over her head then she freaks.

When my Heather was little she loved her bath. She would play for hours in the tub. Later when she learned to take showers I could not get her out. As a teen she likes her shower but she doesn't play in there any more so her time in the shower is less. The only time she spends a lot of time in the shower now days is when she is going out with her friends. I think when they grow up and are no longer playing and using their immagination is when they stop spending so much time in the bath. Just watch as she gets older and see how her bathing habits will change.

There are days that my daughter loves bath time and there are days that she does not. On the days that she does not want to have a bath, I just tell her that we will go swimming in the bath tub. After that she will be excited and takes all of her clothes off with mommy's help and sometimes on her own. My daughter is 1 year and 11 months.

when my son was younger, he loved bath time. he would go around chanting the word "bath" just about all day. when i would be getting him undressed to get into the tub, he was already trying to jump in even though he was still wearing socks and a diaper. now he is 20 months old and doesnt like them as much anymore. if we ask him if he wants to take a bath, he runs away. i have no idea why this happend so suddenly. the odd thing is that he doesnt like the idea of getting a bath, but once he is in the water, he is fine and happy. actually, i stopped giving him baths a few months ago, now he takes showers with either me or my husband. i am not even sure what he would do at this age in a bathtub of water. in the shower, he likes to mimic me when i am washing my hair and my body.
