Hello All. This is Hershe. I have been away from Mylot for a long time. Everything looks different. I suppose it will take me awhile to re-adjusted. In the meantime, I will share with you what I have been up to; at least one of the things I've been up to. It all began when my Father was taken to the hospital with pnemonia. That sorta put my greenhouse job on hold for awhile. A week later he was released from the hospital with a prescription for an antibiotic "just to be sure the pnemonia is gone", they said. Well! If that didn't kill off all the natural good bacteria in his intestines, leaving nothing to keep down the production of the bad bacteria. He developed what they call C.Diff, (colostium difficile), causing sever diarrhea. He has now been on antibiotics to treat this very persistent bacteria for almost nine months. It won't go away. He is now down to one pill twice a day; and we're waiting. So far, so good. Many other things were going on with my Dad such as: Home care, live-in care, and the general hardships of an 89 year old man, who is hard of hearing, with diarrhea.....
