Have you ever got bitten by a dog?

I got bitten by the sheep dog weeks ago. Till today, it is still swelling ... It happens when my son and I was waiting for my husband and my youngest son outside the shopping mall.
A man walk pass with his sheep dog, my son get panicked and walk away from the dog which is on my left hand side. When the minute he move away, I felt pain at my leg ... thereafter my leg bleed. The owner felt sorry and kept apologizing to me.
My husband saw the entire incident and both of us agree that the dog may be thinking that our son is playing with him.
Well, that's my luck ... god bless that I am ok. Do you ever get bitten by a dog?

I did, when I was 5 years old a german shepherd was outside on our stoop and when I walked past he grabbed hold of my eyebrow/eyelid. I needed a few stitches and I think the dog's owners had him put down. He did not have his rabbies shots so perhaps it was the authorities that required him put down so he could be tested for the disease.
at any rate he did not have rabies and I am thankful that he caught my eyelid and brow rather than my eye socket.
