I got this notice from e-gold.

I want to accessed my account in e-gold today but I was prompted by the site that I should send the PIN they sent to my email, but after inputting the same, e-gold deliver this message:
"Unable to login to account.
Access denied
The IP you are using to access the e-gold website (203.177.200.18) appears to be either an open proxy or otherwise exploited. You will not be permitted to access e-gold services from this IP while this condition continues.
Your first order of business to restore access should be to make sure that you are computing securely. Please read and implement e-gold's Security Recommendations.
After you have resolved any security issues, including virus removal, it may take a day or two for your access to be re-enabled."
What does this mean? What should I do next? Please help.

i never login to e-gold using my usual IP address which is according to them is an open proxy or otherwise exploited. i have another option to access to e-gold using the same computer and not necessarily going to an internet cafe and access the e-gold account there. i am using another proxy server which is known as kproxy. just type in the url address www.kproxy.com and then a page is displayed. write the url address of e-gold, which is www.e-gold.com, in the box provided for. if the server is not busy, it will take you somehow to the e-gold site right away thereby allowing you to login. try it and you could check how much money you have in your e-gold account. good luck.

this really happened on me yesterday.
and firstly, if you really use proxy, you can change to another proxy, this message is not tell you your e-gold account was suspended, they only tell you that you use a proxy, then there are too many people already use it, so e-gold don't allow this happened .
then if you use another proxy to log in, if this proxy didn't on e-gold list, that is to say, e-gold website don't know it is a proxy, you can use it to log in your account .
so it is easy to settle, change to another proxy .
and if you also don't use a proxy, I am not sure why this happened on you .
if you also live in China, using proxy or VPN is our only choice, as we could not log in it by our own IP , BAD LUCK.

I believe that they have to call you by phone if you are locked out of your account. Fill out their contact form here~ https://www.e-gold.com/acct/contactus.asp and they should get back to you fairly quickly.

Same thing here,, I am unable to access e-gold, its been more then a month now, My ISP has open proxy.
