I recently read an article at Five Cent Nickel http://fivecentnickel.com/2007/07/02/700-in-business-card-bonuses-anyone-can-apply/
It lists several credit cards that are offering great sign up bonuses. I signed up for the American Express card and got $250 in free gift cards.
Be careful though. I hate debt and recommend that you only apply for these if you are sure you are responsible enough to only take advantage of the free offers then cancel the cards. Everyone should be earning interest - NOT paying interest!

WE have one Visa and one Mastercard. I need to cancel them both, just haven't done it yet. We don't really use them anymore since we made the decision to become debt free (except the house).
I don't feel any credit cards are good, even with the "perks" you get. In the long run, the credit card companies make millions and what do we get? Maybe a few free things here and there.
We now invest our money in ourselves, and in the long run, will pay off big dividends in our future.
