No news is good news ? Right or Wrong?

A: Do your overseas sons call back from Australia?
B: No, he yet to call for almost a month, well no news is good news.
Well right, if you hear nothing, that's mean nothing happen, life goes on as usual. But, I love News with Good news. I am a person prefered to have news and information rather than nothing at all. I will be curious, worried or uneasy. How about you?

when my hubby goes to friends or go to a seminar and have not called for 2 days i fell worried but he says when something happens the press & police is so fast to spread the news which is absolutely right. so, that means for me good news. But i do worried a lot and it's also better to have good news rather than nothing.
