Everybody in Hollywood is rich and famous.

Well not everyone in hollywood is rich and famous only the celebs are im guessing my parents were in hollywood last week for 3 hours and didnt see one celeb I guess its rare to see a celeb walking out in hollywood but there are a lot of mansions there of course there owned by sport players and celebs which are the richest in hollywood.

Hollywood is a city like any other city in any other country in the world. While Hollywood is known for housing the rich and famous, there are surely many "average" humans living there too. Just because a city has a reputation doesn't mean everyone in that city (or other group) falls into that category.

...it bothers me that they are sometimes so political. Their lives seem very unstable, how can they know what's best? Also they often claim to be very environmentally minded unlike us foolish peons.. but I don't burn energy in nine huge homes, and jets.. etc..

ya ITS REALLY TRUE THERE A LOT OF MONEY IN HOLLYWOOD..... tHEY ARE VERY RICH

One time I was in palm springs and we were driving up through hollywood and decided to stop and get something to eat. There werent any places open till like noon, I guess everyone parties the night away. I seen alot of homeless people and the streets were filled with trash. There was one guy walking around slapping himself in the head and another guy who was walking around talking to himself and when he passed me he said "I am not scared of him" and kept walking/talking. We ended up going to a greasy spoon for pizza it was the only place open. I was with someone from work and he was Indian and this guy walks into the place we were in and starts doing the hitler salute, he was some neo-nazi. I was expecting we would end up in a fight but the guy turned around and left. So no hollywood isnt glamerous it is pretty sleezy place to be.

in an ordinary girl's perspective, everybody in hollywood are indeed rich, though some are not that famous. i find them rich because hey live an extravagant life. they have mansions, cars worth billions of dollars. i mean. they dont live the life as simple as some people like me.

Not at ALL. There are people that are homeless, there are people who are in the movie and music industries who don't make much money at all... writers, set designers, camera people, stunt men, body doubles, voice over actors, lighting technicians, etc. Watch the full credits at the end of the movie. compared to the actors, and the producers and stuff, most of those people don't make much money, and work LONG HOURS to finish a film. There are also people in hollywood trying to make it big and have NO JOBS at all, some live on the streets, some work at fast food restaurants, some play guitar on street corners. No, not everyone in hollywood is rich and famouse. FOr every rich actor, there are probably 10 wanna-bes that are hungry and working for pennies to try and get by.
