Cooking a nice meal may not be the most original idea in the book, but it takes SO much effort that it is very much appriciated. If you think normal dinner would be boring, why not make a table full of desserts to share or something like that? Like a fondue? Then it would be luxurious and fun. x

Hello Bob, Having communicated with your wife many times on myLot, I would think that anything that shows her that you care and identify with her values would please her. Maybe when she sees that you have posted this request, would give a warm feeling. At the end of the day, that's what we really need, is to be wanted, needed and loved - I would focus on something you know that would communicate this.

I see you already have some good ideas. So I was thinking if there has been things she was bugging you to do or fix that you haven't done yet. You know those small things that us woman like to nag about.lol. I bet that would make her happy too.

You could try cooking something for her when she arrives in addition to the house sparkling clean. If cant try odering Chinese food and a candle lit dinner when she arrives seems nice. And try playing a cd of her favorite songs too that will produce and ambience that she wont resist....grrrrr hahah
