Is it a strict rule that girl babies have to wear pink dresses? I happen to love that colour and got my d=son a pink tshirt. Guess what? Every stranger who saw him that day said - What a cute girl...Brrrrrrrrrr...Due to these colour restrictions, there is not much choice when to want to buy something. How many of you follow these dress codes fro their children?

Traditionally it was that way but I think today youa re able to dress your baby anyway you want. Some people will always assume things when in a certain color but, it is ultimately your choice. I happen to have dressed my girl & boys in purple alot, my favorite color. Go with what YOU want.

Ok, i think if you put a girl in a dress, it could be of any colour coz you'd be nuts to put a little boy in a dress!
I put my daughter in a lot of blue things coz she looks good in that colour but more often than not, i have her wearing at least 1 pink item, but it's not really a rules that i worry about too much. Since my daughter looks good in blue, then i dress her in it & if someone comments, i usually just inform them that it's a girl & leave it at that!
I think it's just a mindset - everyone always thinks of blue as being a boy & pink as being a girl - even little kids seems to be taught that pink is a girls colour & blue is a boys colour so unless everyone in the planet can get over that, it's just always going to be that way unfortunately.
