It's hard to name a beach as being the "best in the world" because they each have something unique to offer. Personally, I love Jaco Beach in Costa Rica, as well as the numerous beaches in Maldives.

I have been to Malaysia and think the beaches, especially on the islands are really beautiful. I really love to travel and my favorite sort of beaches are ones with golden sand and palm trees. I love the islands that I have been to in the Pacific Ocean. Fifi has lots and lots of stunning beaches. I liked French Polynesia's island of Moorea even more. It has exiting areas off lovely beaches to go snorkeling. I saw scary looking black tipped sharks and friendly sting rays. I also liked the amazing beaches in the Cook Islands. I enjoyed swimming out to tiny islands with gorgeous white sandy beaches. It is Samoa that I enjoyed the most with an little island with a very pretty beach and thatched hut like things called fales to stay in.
Other superb beaches I have found are those in the Seychelles. These have beautiful rock faces on them, waving palm trees and a lovely warm sea. The climate there is almost perfect. I like the small islands and stunning beaches I found in the Maldives as well. It was like paradise for rich Robinson Crusoe types. I think it is very expensive there. I enjoyed my time in Belize far more. It has islands like Caye Caulker that you can take boat trips out to the classic white sand beach and waving palm trees. So I think, thinking about all the wonderful beaches that I have been to I think the Seychelles wins first prize. However I am yet to see the beautiful beaches of the Philippines. I am sure it has equally stunning beaches from what I have heard. I would really love to go there soon.

I come from the philippines, much like you am also from Asia. I think our country's are also neighbor's, our country both have good coastal beaches and resorts to offer tourists the best tropical experience!;)
We have the world reknowned "BORACAY" beach here, with the best white sands clear and pure. We also have resort padises here, like El Nido in palawan offering an island hopping and adventures on enchanted caves and taverns.
