Please don't use terribly it will burn like ashes and will not work even you can't claim for the warranty while using don't keep it on soft surface like sofa pillows etc it will soon burn put it on hard surfaces try to keep some gap beneath it so the air can pass easily try to get another laptop use alternatively by swapping so each one will get the rest and you will be using 24/7 nonstop. LOl!!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as solid-state components go, best to make sure you have a good cooling system to keep temperatures reasonably low. Intel's Centrino families are the best for the job. If you have an AMD processor, best NOT to use it 24/7, as it will suck up juice and eventually cause meltdowns. As far as your hard drive goes, the more it is working, the sooner it will fail. All hard drives fail eventually. The good news is that you can prepare for such a catastrophy by creating image backups of the hard drive. The best thing you could do for yourself would be to purchase a copy of Acronis True Image and an external USB hard drive (a portable hard drive would be fine). You could do without the extra hard drive if you know how to create a separate partition on the local drive, but having a separate hard drive makes it easier for you to split the image and span it across DVD±R/RW discs for safekeeping. This way, you will have a full backup containing your entire operating system ready at hand on that fateful day when the hard drive finally fails. At this point, all you have to do is get the hard drive replaced, have someone format the new drive, and load your image backup onto the new disk. Voila! Just like nothing ever happened, except you got a new hard drive. :)

I don't think you can use your laptop 24/7 because it will exceed its normal temperature and harm the hardware of your laptop, unless you have a very powerful cooling system to keep your laptop on a cool condition. I personally don't keep my laptop working over 24 hours.

your hard disk will not crash until and unless you use it harshly that is if you exceed its normal temperature- 30 - 55 C. laptop hard disk are small and their are quite low compared to desktop pc. so dont use it too rough

Don't worry about your laptop. Worry about yourself. I wonder if you are still sleeping or eating perhaps. Exposing too much to radiation isn't good for our health,i believe. So,better take care of yourself.
