i love my country but there is a big problem we`re facing now i think.as of now i am not living in my home land and i thank God for helping me realizing the things i used to do and the people living in my homeland right now. but sad to say that the bad habit that we were doing right now is becoming a usuall daily habit that is being thought to our little children in my own country... and those little children is the hope of our country. and its my greatest fear. countries surrounding my homeland is striving to produce the product of thier own and is being patronize by business men around the world but when i look by to my mother land i saw my fellow people leaving our beloved country and work as laborer of other countries... it is really sad to see and felt so bad because i also is one of them.
i want to do something about this problem of my own mother land. i am starting my voice here in mylot because i feel this will be a start for me the idea how to change the lives of my fellow country men..and i know that i am not the only one who has this burden and to anyone who is reading at this moment in my column help me think and let us discuss this situation let me hear your ideas i am willing to hear. i didnt mention where is my mother land here but please feel free to ask if you are interested. thank you.

I hear you. It is the same thing where I come from. Going abroad to work and patronizing imported products are caused by a lot of factors. It can be frustration with the economy. In our country, inflation is higher than a worker's wage increase. How can they cope? Plus, there is colonial mentality where foreigners are put in such high esteem while the locals downplay themselves. There is always the notion that the grass is greener on the other side. But with so much financial hardships in our country, who can blame people from wanting to leave?
What can we do to remedy this situation? Participate in elections, talk to the people you know to choose government officials wisely. The government can do a lot of things for the better if run by the right people. If you have enough money, start a business. It puts money into the economy and at the same time helps alleviate the unemployment problem. Teach your children your country's culture so that they have a semblance of national identity and pride.
