Ok, I'm just guessing. My guess would be Paul McCartney. He's had alot of popular songs. The others have only had a few that I know of.

That's a great guess however it is incorrect. Paul didn't have a number 1 until 1971 with Uncle Albert (hands across the water). His final number 1 was in 1983-84 with Michael Jackson. That song was Say Say Say. The Beatle I'm talking about had a number one hit in 1970 as well as 1987. One more guess anyone?

Well then, I used to have a 45 by George Harrison, My Sweet Lord, at around 1970, and another single by him, at around 87, Got my mind set on you, I think was the name. Is it him? If not, there's only 2 left.

I think you'll find "starting over" was recorded 79 but not released till later, early in 1980...... he was gunned down 1980 unfortunately... i think that whole album "double fantasy" was amoungst his best, but let's not for "imagine"

John Lennon's solo work was my favorite from the 4 beatles. His work was heart felt and poignant. Imagine was a 1971 hit and his last number one was (Just Like) Starting Over in 1980-81.
