Why are some people anxious?

Everyday, every moment, everything that is in our thought is what would happen to us in the future. I myself had prayed to the Lord everyday that He might bless me. But as time passed by, I realized that I have nothing to worry about, and there is nothing to be anxious.
The main reason why people are anxious about their future is because they lack faith in the Lord. And I admit that even today I am still short of my faith in God. I am a student, but i guess i have not spend most of my time studying, rather i spent most of my time worrying of what would happen to me the next day, the next month, or the next year. This is exactly wrong. I have just read an article a few hours ago on which the author said,"I have learned from my experience that the only way to escape anxiety is to enjoy the Lord." It's really wonderful, isn't it? Christ is versus anxiety.
You know even Paul, felt the same way as we do. Paul was a matured man but in the day that he suffered from a thorn in the flesh, he asked the Lord to remove the thorn. But the Lord answered,"My grace is sufficient for you." The Lord seemed to be telling Paul that He will not remove the thorn because His grace is sufficient for Him and all that he has to do is to enjoy Him, that He might not be suffering anymore. Same as Paul, i know that whenever we feel anxious we would ask the Lord about our concerns. But I thank the Lord for showing me this vision, that His grace is sufficient for me and for us.
