yes you are right. I wear glasses and now that i am older people will often say as i put them on...oh...sucks to be getting old doesn't it?" I just laugh. I have worn glasses since I was 12. I have had poor short term memory since i was born...i am blonde!! i blame the hair color rather than the age....lol

Here I would like to tell you that the "feeling old" concept comes from external sources also. I would like to cite an example: I don't know whether you experienced are not but normally we do forget certain things. Forgetting things may be due to several reasons. But this is a common phenomenon found in all age groups. But in general people relate it to age. Am I right? So it also happens that after 40 if we by mistake forget something the family members start saying that I told you this but you forgot may be you are getting old. the feeling dint start in our mind but was put in our mind. So we also take it that way.

it all starts in the mind.
when you think you're old, the body tends to respond by getting older...
but then again, aging is a process...the fountain of youth is not yet found. for now the best way to face it is to face it gracefully.

Old is a frame of mind. The minute you start to feel limited in what you can do because of your age you are old. No matter how old you are, there is someone older who is doing more than you.

yes I agree with you. The moment you take more time in doing the same thing what you used to do early, immediately we link it with the age. But wont you think that it was actually the age that has reduced your speed? The time management was yours. the work was done by you as usual as you used to do earlier, the circumstances and everything is same then why the delayed work? I feel at this point it is not only the mind but the body also starts speaking its language.
