Each of us is like an individual raindrop...

I was sitting here at my window watching the rain fall....small drops of rain were falling into a puddle made by all of the reent rains....it came to my mind that each of us in life, is like a single raindrop....falling from heaven and making a small ripple affect with regards to the ones in our lives....then we are gone...back to the heavens to fall again at another time.....
This analogy of life is so simple....I realize that the way I look at things are a little foggy right now to say the very least...but I wondered if others felt this way too....

So you're calling me a drip now? HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Some times the simplest things around us make us think about how our life affects others life we come into cintact with. This is great. Thanks for your foggy thinking. Foggy? Rain? A theme here I sense. Hee hee.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Yup, my friend....You are a drip....but a necessary drip in the broad spectrum of life....LOL
You seem to be able to make me smile even when I don't think I will ever be "happy" again...
I am looking for that silver lining in this storm...thanks for pointing to it for me....

This is the second time I have responded to this great discussion, I had a great response the first time round then the computer crashed, typical or what! Basically you had a great analogy (if that's the right word here) and yes we are but blips on the globe, considering Earth has been alive for thousands upon thousands of years our lifetimes are miniscule in comparison. We are like little lights all across the globe that light up when we are born and flicker out when we die.

It went very well indeed, she was a lovely woman, and I have vibes about people and I felt comfortable, sadly she won't be my counselor just the assessor. She said I was articulate and now I just have to wait, it won't be too long because I am flexible and I don't mind having a man or woman x

I am so glad to hear that you felt good about things today...I worry about you at times...of course, I have been self-absorbed lately but not a night goes by that so many of my friends here are in my thoughts....

Thanks for putting in the effort to retype this to me...it is irritating as heck when my computer does that...it is storming here today so never know how long the Internet will be strong...LOL
I find myself realizing just how miniscule we really are right now....
Did you make it to your counseling today? Was it a good session? I am so glad that you are taking this step,my friend....

When we loose a loved one, we tend to see things from a different angle and perspective I guess. Raindrops are fascinating to watch. A single raindrop will fall hundreds of miles from the sky as one, but the minute it lands in a puddle is is no longer identifiable as one single raindrop.

My friend you say your mind is foggy but times like these is when we really start to realize some things. I too have felt the way you do while watching the rain. How my parents where like the rain drops and how now they are in heaven together. If there is anything i can do for you please let me know. I am here for you.

Thank you, my dear friend....I do not think anybody can actually "help" me....I have family close and I often catch them looking at me so sad...wishing they could take away the pain...they can not!
My 5 year old...frequently coms to me and places his hand on my cheek asking "Are you still sad because of your Mom?" Then he wanted to know if we could go to Heaven to visit Grandma....it is heartwretching...
I swear that I can feel her here and I know that she was happy here..the other evening as I was preparing dinner plates...I caught myself hollering at her to come and eat..I had alreay made her plate...I am trying to "get it together"...but it seems out of my grasp at the present time...
I know that I am in your thoughts and prayers, my dear....I appreciate it so much!
