So how do you feel about ADHD? Do you think this even exists? I was told my daughter had it. She was on medication for a few months. I took her off it because she acted like a zombie. Well then when i got with my husband i found out he has it to. Do adults that have ADHD have a worse temper then usual?

ADHD is definitly real!! I am a school teacher and trust me, you can tell when a student forgot to take their medication that morning. However, I also think that ADHD is widely overdiagnosed. Too many doctors, maybe even parents, are too quick to say a child has ADHD simply because then are difficult to handle. In my limited experience, adults with ADHD do seem to have a worse temper.

Well with my experience with living with my daughter and husband who both have adhd i do have to say that i agree with you about the temper. But if they get on the right medication they will be fine. This is my whole thing. I want everyone to be happy. I do also know that adhd for children is alot different for adults. I have done some research on it. It's pretty intersting to know everything.

I have to say I do think this condition does exist. Both my oldest child and my hubby have it. The key is to finding the medication that is right for each person. With my daughter it was trial and error for months before we found the right meds. ADHD used to affect her school work because she just couldn't stay focused but now that we have the right stuff she is excelling in school. Good luck!

Well so far its my oldest child, my husband and i believe my middle child will also have it. I just hope that my baby doesnt get it too. Some days i just want to scream. It can get very hectic. But hopefully with everybody responding and telling me things that maybe we can get everyone on a medication that will help them and not make them act like a zombie.
