The most important thing is that you're pointed to God, as much as it is good to fellowship with other Christians and all, every church has it's own weakness, so you will never see a perfect church. If you go to a place and you Experience God's true love there. Find out if God wants you there and just trust God and go for it.

A church is just a place of worship. Just like a restaurant is just a place to eat. If you are looking to find the perfect church, you will never find one for all fall short of the glory of God. My advice to you is search for a church. When you get to the place where God wants you to be, your spirit inside of you will let you know. It might take a few churches for you to find the right one for you, but keep searching. Don't give up. God will lead you to the right place. May God bless you in your path.

Hi friend. You know I'm happy to those people like you asking this kind of question. Because lot of people don't mind about this, they are busy full time with their own activities in life. The truth is, God did not give any right to anybody to build his own church. It is indeed disgusting that today, a lot of ministers build churches of their own. They deliberately oppose and defy what the Bible said- that, the Gentiles, like us must join or make ourselves a part of the body, or the Church, for us to be saved. And what is the reason why we must abide by it? It is because, as far as God is concerned, He did not give anybody His consent to build a church right now in our time. This is what Psalms 127:1 says- "Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that built it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain." The verse mentioned of a "house" which becomes useless if it is not built by the Lord. Let us now ask the Bible. What is being referred to as the "house" which only God has the right to build? In 1 Timothy 3:15 it says- "But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou outhest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and the ground of the truth." That is the house or the Church that was built by God himself. If you are serious about the salvation, try to find the truth with all your heart while there is still time. Because in 2 Timothy 3:1-2 it says; " This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boaster, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parent, unthankful, unholy, wihout natural affection, trucebreaker, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers to those that are good." That is obviously noticed in our present times. The real church is the one which is headed by Christ. Among the many churches today, how can we determine that church is headed by Christ? Christ, being the ruler of the Church, affects the lives of the people that He heads. First of all, the Church which is headed by Christ, does not teach any wrong doctrine. Instead, it teaches indestructible and undefiled doctrines. In Luke 21:13-15 says;"And it shall turn to you for a testimony. Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: For I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries cannot gainsay nor resist." Christ gave an assurance to the Church He heads. He said. "It shall turn to you for a testimony." You don't have to think of what answer to give when somebody asks you a question because He will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries cannot gainsay nor resist. Therefore, one manifestation of a Church which is headed by Christ is, it cannot be readily destroyed; its doctrines are wihout flaws. Hope this will give you a help in line with your question. No church could ever save man. It is only man's faith in God that saves him. The Bible tells us that he who believes and is baptized shall be saved, but he who does not believe shall be condemn(Mark 16:16). Therefore, the only prerequisite for salvation is belief in God.

I don't believe that a church saves souls or a person like a preacher,etc can save souls because we are accountable for or own souls and we will be held accountable for our deeds.You know who is able to help your soul . It is the one that created the soul.
